I grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, and have been coming to Culver since I was little to enjoy time with friends and family. I always remembered it as an enjoyable and relaxing place to be. In late 2020, after graduating high school, I moved to Culver to work for a contractor (Mirar Custom Homes) to learn more about residential construction. I had worked a few other construction jobs but not to the magnitude Culver has to offer. Since then, I have learned the ins and outs of building homes. However, while doing so, I did notice a problem. Many homes here are for families to enjoy in the summer but are left unused for the rest of the year. When those families come to Culver, they want to enjoy Lake Maxinkuckee, the great food, and most importantly, have time to relax. Home maintenance, boat cleanup, and all other needs are at the bottom of the list when people have little time to enjoy here. That's why I started Green’s Lake Home Services at the beginning of 2024, to take care of that work, so those families can have more time to relax! Since then this “side gig” has taken off into a business that I take care of during all of my free time. I couldn’t be more grateful to my customers for keeping me busy and testing my skills. My favorite thing about my job is being able to learn every day and find new solutions to the problems I find.
